Question by ilikedagwoods: My MTD ranch king riding mower will not start with the blade belt on the engine pulley. Any help?
O.K. this model has the blade engagement that is also the deck height adjustment lever.(pull it all the way up to disengage)
When I bought it everything was as it should be. Then I took the deck off my ranch-king. After I put it back on I cannot start the engine with the belt on the pulley. If I take the belt off the pulley I can start it and drive it, but obviously my grass won’t get any shorter! I have fiddled with it a bit to no avail. PLEASE HELP ME.
