What is the weather like?

Summer temperatures can briefly hit the upper 90s in June before the cooling summer rains come. When the rainy season hits around the end of June, expect short cooling rains every few days and high temps in the 80s. Evenings in the summer cool off to the 60s.

Winter temperatures are ideal for northern travelers and locals alike. Day-time temps range from the 60s to the 70s and evening temps can be brisk 40s.

What is there to do in Arivaca?

A LOT! Bird watching, hunting, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, shopping, eating, alternative healing, coffee shop, music, high speed internet, yoga, tavern, potlucks, meditating, star gazing, library, and exploring. There is more to do in Arivaca than you could possibly get to in one season. To top it all off, we are only a short drive from the Saguaro National Park, the Kino Mission in Tumacacori and San Xavier, the famous art district of Tubac, the Sonoran Desert Museum in Tucson and much, much more.
