A NEW RV PARK/RESORT IN SCENIC AND REMOTE ARIVACA, ARIZONA;
A SHORT ONE HOUR DRIVE FROM THE TUCSON AIRPORT
Arivaca is the last existing Federal Township, tracing its roots to the Hohokam Indians.
Apache Battles were fought here. Gold and silver strikes have been made. Cattle ranching
has also found a home here. Now the area lures artists, astronomy buffs, birders, hikers,
hunters, fisherman, and those in hiding from whatever seeks them.
This "sky island" in the Sonoran Desert is at an elevation of 3800 feet. The area has
cooler climates and more precipitation than lower elevations. The sunsets are gorgeous,
and there is some incredible local history.
